Edward Stratemeyer

Edward L. Stratemeyer was an American publisher and writer of childrens fiction.

He was born the youngest of six children in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to Henry Julius Stratemeyer, a tobacconist, and Anna Siegel, both immigrants from Germany.
